CLEAPSS courses for secondary schools
CLEAPSS typically runs about 200 courses per year around the country, mostly one day. These may be for teachers, technicians or local authority officers.
The following lists the main courses run. Click on each to find out more information and/or to find the dates and venues of forthcoming courses. The information given is for our usual course but sometimes, there are minor changes at the request of the organiser. Courses can often be modified for a particular audience, eg, middle or prep.schools.
Many CLEAPSS courses are run on request from a local authority, school or group of schools, or a science learning centre. The organiser takes bookings, sorts out the venue and manages the course. Each organiser makes their own charge for the course and often CLEAPSS is not told what that charge is. If you are interested in a place on such a course you need to contact the organiser. Dont forget to ask how much the course will cost. To find out who to contact, phone or send us an email at courses@cleapss.org.uk.
Some courses are directly organised by CLEAPSS. These cost £80 to CLEAPSS members and £160 to non-member establishments. To find out more details about these courses, phone or send us an email at courses@cleapss.org.uk.
If there is no course on a topic you are interested in, or none in your area, we may be able to arrange one. We may ask whether your school would be prepared to act as host.
